This year is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It is also the year that I turn 50, having been born in the bicentennial year of 1976. The Spirit of ‘76 Project is all about honoring this important anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, and to renew our adoration and commitment to our original principles. These are the principles of liberty, equality, pursuit of happiness, and a government by and for the people.

The Spirit of ‘76 is the spirit of enlightenment

The Spirit of ‘76 is the spirit of enfranchisement

The Spirit of ‘76 Project is multi-modal content, and is meant to be educational and inspirational, with blog articles, music, videos, and other forms of engagement. Here are some of the highlights to expect in 2026:

  • Spirit of ‘76 Monthly Themes – Articles, research, music, top 10 playlists, lyrical analysis, videos, and other content will be centered around a different theme each month. For example, January will be about Stoicism, February will be about History, and March will be about Religion.
  • New Realizing Resonance Music – A new song will be released each month and will relate to the theme for that month. The music will be released to all streaming platforms, and will inspire playlists with songs that have similar aspects. The first song of the year will be “Hopes and Prayers”, a surge of sonic Stoicism.
  • Thinking Thursdays – The Spirit of ‘76 AI Research Assistant will have a new deep dive report for us each week which will focus on details related to the theme for the respective month. For example, in January when the theme is Stoicism, we will publish a report called “Stoicism in an Age of Turbulence”.
  • Spirit of ‘76 Merch – Opportunities to purchase physical mementos of this historical moment in the form of Spirit of ‘76 shirts, stickers, CDs, vinyl, and more. Look forward to a future GoFundMe campaign to help finance the swag and merchandise.

The Spirit of ‘76 Project will be organic and have emergent properties that have yet to be realized or imagined. Join in to help us grow. Please subscribe to the blog, follow Realizing Resonance on Facebook, and share our content with those who might appreciate it.

Sincerely, Jared Endicott
